Hi Mike,

My other digital SLR is an Oly E-510, and I had the purple problem with it 
last Spring.  The E-1 seems to deal with it much more correctly, at least in 
my opinion.

Good luck with the rain.  I understand that there is a lot of flooding right 
now.
