Ken, in all honesty, apart from explicit "Highlight" and "Shadow"
buttons, the spot metering
system of the OM-3Ti, whilst fantastic in its day, doesn't come close
to that of the
Canon 1Ds MkII I used to use.

Much smaller, moveable spot area, also presented on a scale, and one
could even take
multi-spot flash readings to work out the perfect flash exposure,
similar to what the
OM-3/4 does with natural light.

The 1D-series has two scales inside, cleverly allowing one to
"superimpose" and
relate flash exposure with natural light exposure.

Of course, as Stephen Troy has said, the 1D would be dead "in the water"
(pun intended? although it's amazingly weather sealed also) in the MRI
scanner scenario :-)

I am hugely looking forward to this sophisticated manual camera :-)
