Grain is always an emotive issue, and there is something classic about tri-x, 
having said that I love Delta 100 and 400 for general use. 
 
I long gave up on FP4.

I've shot a LOT of Pan-F this past year and agree with your assessment. It
and FP4 print very nicely in the darkoom (as does Tri-X), but Delta 100 has
something just a touch off. I think I figured out what it is for me, though.
Zones II-IV seem to all combine together into Zone III. But if you push them
down in printing into I-II, that the print starts to snap.

Other than that, Delta 100 and 400 are my favorite films.
