[OM] [OT] Any Leech experts on the list

While cleaning the swimming pond I found this little chappie (approx 
5-6cms long fully extended)

Surprisingly I could find little information, except that leeches are 
common in ponds and that this one may have evolved from being a blood 
sucker to being fully carnivorous and could explain where all the 
tadpoles went ;-)

I found one last year as well but didn't photograph it, we swam in the 
pool all last year with no one getting "leeched"
