Peel back the ring and apply double sided tape is the number 2 option that I
am aware of. Number 1 option is, of course, epoxy!
If the ring is very loose, you may need to cut it diagonally across the
diamond pattern, then shave off part of it to reduce the length. Not
soemthing I have ever done, so no responsibility taken etc etc.
