This weekend was spent building a UV light box for alt process printing
exposures.
The box has a Radio Shack cooling fan with only two black wires. My
assumption is you hook one up to the neutral and the othet to the hot wire.
Would that probably not destroy the fan. Yes, both are solid black . . . no
stripes, lines or other marks.
