Moose says:
"I think the only thing that comes near is a FF DSLR. Even at that, the
'view' is not the same, the standard screens not optimized for manual
focus and, according to folks here, the alternate screens still not
ideal.

If you want to use the existing OM lenses, the only choice is Canon, as
only it has a short enough register distance to allow an adapter. The
5D, I & II, compromise a bit on prism size and the 1D series are huge
and heavy. I personally find the 5D reasonable to focus manually, but
that is apparently not the common experience, based on posts here."

Several list members use OM lenses on the 5DII --focus is accurate
with live view but a bit fussy. Ee-S screen better than
stock with faster lenses but darker VF of course.

If you don't mind a Frankenmount Dave at Leitax has mount conversion
kits for Nikon--at least for a year or so and now Pentax. He has done
it for Sony too but no kit yet on his site. I bet he could convert
them for you to Sony with instructions on how to reverse. Gives me
the willies but at least there are options. Appears the dof scale
must be sacrificed. All conversions are non-destructive and reversible.

Better yet, sell me the 40 F2 for a super price and I'll use it on OM.
:-)
