Such a review can't tell you anything.  The only way to tell is to 
destructively open them up.  Where you have problems with lithium-ion 
batteries is if the charger fails and is overcharging the battery or if 
the battery should get short circuited somehow... neither of which is 
any part of normal operation.  A properly built lithium-ion battery has 
internal circuitry to prevent fire and/or explosion in the event of 
overheating or short circuit.  Lots of cheapie, Chinese made batteries 
don't have this vital protection.  That's part of why they're able to 
sell so cheaply since the protection chip (at least from US sources like 
TI) costs about $2.50 in quantities of 10,000.

Even supposedly well made and QC controlled batteries from Sony and 
Apple have had fire problems.  The problem with a lithium-ion fire is 
that it can't be put out with water.  Water will cool it but not 
extinguish it.  You have to let it burn out.

Since there's no way to tell from the outside whether the battery is 
good or not about all you can do is trust the reputation of the 
manufacturer.  If you don't know who the manufacturer is there's no 
reputation available for trust.  This link has been posted here before:
