Here in Iowa, the tick population has exploded. It's sad when you park
at the forest/prairie and when you come back there are ticks climbing
on your jeep's tires and doors.

Probably 15 years ago I got nailed by one on my calf. Nice red ring
and everything. All these years later it still gives me problems.
