Thanks.  That appears to be consistent with the E-420 operation as shown 
by the videos at dpreview that Moose posted here:

But it does seem that the E-620 does it differently

As I just said in my last post it doesn't appear to drop the mirror but 
I can't figure out when it made the exposure determination since it's in 
"A" mode.
