Moose, you are absolutely correct. I did misuse the term "bokeh". I'll
blame it on bad tacos.

As to the actual bokeh in the image, I didn't want to come right out
and say it, but yes, I'm using the grain of the film to mask the
nastiness of the bokeh itself. The 50 F1.4 lens at some apertures and
working distances does tend to get a bit ragged in the bokeh
department. A 35-80 F2.8 zoom it ain't.

As to all that tongue biting, can I suggest a mouthguard like boxers wear?
