i think the simple explanation is that the picture was taken at dusk and/or in 
heavy shade, and given the small aperture of the kit lens, the camera selected 
a high shutter speed (my M8 is also at auto ISO 99% of the time, as is my GF-1; 
I care more about the appropriate shutter/aperture combination than the ISO).

As for the motorcycle itself, I almost drooled all over the keyboard. During 
much of my teenage years in the 1970s, the CB750 was the ultimate motorcycle 
and an unattainable dream. Then along came the Kawa 900 to take the title, but 
the big Honda remained special. Nowadays a 750 is considered a medium-size 
bike, but back then it was big. Harleys were strictly for Hells Angels types, 
and British bikes were not even in the picture in Denmark back then.
