Hi Chuck,

I don't run Photoshop under Linux, but it appears it is possible. Manuel's
suggestion is one way, and WINE is another. Here's information regarding
WINE:

http://wiki.winehq.org/AdobePhotoshop

For myself, running the GIMP was sufficient. There are operational
differences between the two, of course, and there are lots of Photoshop
extras that GIMP doesn't possess, but I've so far been able to accomplish
everything I've needed, including sending color-controlled files for
printing elsewhere. The biggest thing lacking in GIMP that is present in
Photoshop is CMYK separation capability, and, as I'm not trying to produce
separations for offset printing, I don't miss that at all.

Fernando also has a good suggestion, which is to dual-boot the machine. I
would however, recommend installing Windows first, vice Linux, as Windows
tends to try to control the boot sector of the drive, and often overwrites
the Linux bootloader.
