Southern California is a car paradise, with little or no rust. One of the
most important parts of this is that generally, prevailing winds are blowing
out to sea, like the infamous red wind, and that brings less humid air
rather than humid, salt laden air into your car.

I'd be looking in Calif, Ariz, etc. Places where it doesn't snow in most of
the state and when it does, they don't use salt. Cars simply don't rust
underneath.
When Carol first moved out here from Maine, she thought it looked like a
rolling car museum.
