Last time I did it was on Black Flanked Rock Wallabies (avg. weight 3-4kg) - 
shave down the base of the tail to get at the lateral caudal vein which looks 
like an alpine road map. While sitting on the ledge of a sea cliff with the 
animal head down in a sack After that, humans would be easy.
Fortunately I married a professional vampire (pathology nurse) with a deft 
touch. Handy sometimes.
