Yep, it can get tedious when stuck behind a gang of ploughs. However,
the driving is much, much easier afterwards. I'm always amazed how
effectively the main roads are cleaned after a major storm. The
sideroads are usually another matter, though.
Driving in snow storms is a delight for which one rapidly tires. Unless
it's to stock up on beer/wine and other essentials for the igloo
experience.

we should be getting our own share here pretty soon, so you might as
well save on the postage ;-), I remember driving to quebec once at
night with my father in a snow storm, following three of four salt
lorries which were following three or four snow ploughs, in fact it
was next day that my om2 spot program died because of the cold - ( I
wish this list had existed then or if it did that I knew of it at the
time).
