Ha! In fact it's an annoying pedestrian not my finger.
I was shooting with a stonking 80-200 (at 185mm the exif tells me)
and unless I had Edward Scissorhand's fingers I couldn't have reached to get
it in front of the lens.
The version I have in my PS Elements library was cropped, but uploading
using Picasa didn't read the sidecar file and uploaded the unedited version.
So now I cropped it for you:
