Actually, totally opposite what the ethanol people say, the owners manual
says no more that 10%. Since the 15% probably won't be posted on the pump,
I'll just have to tell with reduced gas mileage.

If you're just burning the standard 10% ethanol mix your 05 Audi
shouldn't have any problem.  Supposedly, cars since 1998 should be OK on
E10 and my '99 Chrysler handles it just fine.  E85, however, is a
different kettle of fish since it's 85% ethanol and only 15% gas.  Don't
use it unless your owner's manual explicitly states that E85 is OK.  The
car might not even run on E85 since it requires significant increases in
fuel pressure and fuel volume as regulated by the injectors.  It also
requires a higher compression ratio to be able to efficiently extract
the energy in ethanol.
