I'm not a big monsanto surporter, but you h ave to recognize their position.
These seeds didn't just spring up.

I was involved in protest activity against PVR (Plant Variety rights)
ohsomany years ago. It was a losing fight from round one. You can't beat
Monsanto,especially when they were running the 'Green Revolution' of the
time.
