I can't comment on your choice of targets, Chris, but your successors have
not yet succeeded in hitting any of the local four (which they overfly
daily).
As to the scenery, of course I agree, with the rider that being here, one
can better appreciate how much it changes with every hour. And the further
rider that I only wish I could do it justice in-camera :-(

Yes, I'm envious, Piers! Not necessarily of the proximity of the
distilleries as I drink Scotch only rarely (but always a malt: I have
Lagavulin, Aberlour and Clynelish at the moment), but because of the scenery
that is obviously available to you.
When I learned to fly Jaguars, based at Lossiemouth, the distilleries were
convenient targets -- to simulate enemy factories. We used to use those in
the Spey valley, but also some on the Western Isles.
