Which brings up a question. What happened to Soligor lenses?
I see that many of the Soligor lenses were made by Tokina. That
explains a few things... But I really doubt that my particular zoom in
question was. That was rather unlike any of the other Soligor lenses I
had and was head-and-shoulders above the Olympus zooms at the time.
I wouldn't want that lens back again, but it did serve me well for a
few years until I "got religion" and sold everything that didn't say
"Zuiko".
