I think I would have passed out had someone in a bar said something like that 
to me. <g>

Once upon a time I was posting online in a literary form sysopped (do you 
double the p? <g>) by an English mystery writer. She made some suggestion to 
one of my writing samples, to which I posted "Roger that!"

Of course this is when I learned the difference between American military speak 
and English slang.

How exactly does "keep your pecker up" mean other than what it sounds like?
