Unfortunately, when the symptoms, including high fever, manifested themselves
(though for accuracy's sake, I did decline having an actual culture taken to
buttress the diagnosis), I had just been reading about the Spanish Flu pandemic
following WWI. Does not make for peaceful delusions.
