I'd say, another good point in favor of the e-pl2; the 40-150 is MSC rated
too, and worth much more than the 17 f/2.8. I know a lot of people who find it
very nice.

Now, I thought the vf-2 was included, and sure, it raises the price somewhat,
but it's likely to repay itself in the long run. That's a winner, and it's
always in high demand.

You are right to go for the Panasonic 20 f/1.7 - it's a very nice lens. The
pancake form factor introduces limits on final image quality, but somehow,
Panasonic has managed a much better compromise than Olympus made with the 17.
Or in other words, the Panasonic flaws blend superbly into the final image,
while Olympus flaws are simply distracting and disappointing. I have both, I'd
love to love the Olympus because the focal length is better suited to street
shooting, and the lens looks much nicer on the camera, but very often I spend
hours on my computer correcting chromatic aberrations and swearing that it'll
never get out of the bag again. All in all, I'd say I use the Panasonic 80% of
the time. Almost no post processing required. The center sharpness wide open
is simply inbelievable.

Have fun whatever you choose,

Cheers,
