It is an unnecessary but desired luxury, and will likely remain our
keeper-car while we occasionally swap over the workhorse/shopping
trolley/dog car This is currently a 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander, bought
recently used at a remarkably reasonable price and 2 years warranty
left, and seeming running strong (with The Loved One having fun buying
options for it and us installing them ourselves from workshop manuals
and such).
My father loved Porsche, and always, always wanted a Carrera. But,
given the chance at an SUV/4WD, I suspect he may have hopped into a
Jeep Grand Cherokee as they were his favourite 4WD.
