Sounds interesting.  I can't wait to hear all the details.

Want to give us more detail on how one scans a projected image? 
Somewhere I had stashed some plans to use a flat bed scanner as a camera 
to record an image projected by a lens but can't find it anymore.  I 
seem to recall that it was one of many personal projects developed by a 
former Kodak engineer who lives in Rochester.  Anybody know of it?
