Fernando, you can choose to start anywhere. Half of what I write is
interchangeable with Ken Rockwell, anyway.

The adaptive bias amplifier is a little different concept than the
bias voltage on the speaker which I was referring to. No, I can't
figure out Mark Levinson's amp either, except it does address part of
the problem by different means.

The bias voltage on the speaker cone was something that a studio
monitor company developed back about 20 years ago. This company
created a self-powered monitor which used this technique. I built the
test gear for measuring and comparing using a hot-rodded digital
multitrack editor. They successfully managed to fix the rebound
problem, but I thought they sounded horrid with no life. It was like
being in an anechoic chamber. The closest I've ever heard is
electrostatic speakers, but without the ambiance. It never went to
market as a specific product, but some of the aspects of it were
incorporated into an audio processor.

Fact is, your new speakers are much better than anything I'll ever
own. Very nice, indeed.
