Well, when you insert the word advertisement, you automatically require a 
release. Just a book wouldn't, unless it were clearly an advertisement. And 
you're right about kids. Sometimes it's better to take the easy path rather 
than fight a fight you don't really need to fight. The photographer at our 
newspaper used to get releases for all feature photos, even though he didn't 
need them because they clearly constituted editorial content. He said it was 
just easier that way, and no one ever turned down an opportunity to have his or 
her picture in the paper.
