Ta.  For some reason (I might be getting old), this one of the
Pembroke is actually my favourite.

As for blurred foregrounds, I've used them a few times, though it's
usually some sort of cliche like overhanging foliage framing a bit of
landscape.  That or the horn end of a trumpet being played.
