I didn't mention the MBP as I assumed that cost might be an issue. I have the
MBP 13", with 4Gb RAM and a 750Gb HDD (which I have just installed myself). I
have had it for 18 months, after 2 MacBooks and 2 iBooks, changing every time
because I wanted to, not forced to by problems.
The upgrades on the Apple Store are fine, but I would advise against using
Apple's RAM upgrades as it is normally pretty pricey.
