Sorry to hear about that, Andrew...especially this early in the winter.

Here is something that might help, my "secret" family recipe for something
similar to glogg:

half a bottle of wine

peel of one lemon, cut in inch by inch sized pieces

at least one bay leaf

Start with two tsps of black pepper and see how you like it, you might need
more, a lot more.

This is the simpliest and most elegant recipe, but the magic lies in the
preparation.

1. combine all ingredients in a metal pot, I would recommend the ones that the
middle easteners use for boiling turkish coffee. Cover it.

2. Heat it up to the point where you see steam coming from the top of the
liquid. DO NOT BOIL.

3. Take it off the fire and wait until the lemon rind absorbs some wine and
expands in volume. Now it is ready to drink

4. Pour in a small glass and return the pot to the stove heating element.
Turn it on the lowest setting to keep it warm, but be careful, do not boil.

I usually refill and reheat when about one third is left. I also add some more
pepper. I dont like it too spicy, but when I have cold I put some extra pepper,
almost as much as I could handle it.

Get well soon

Best

Boris

....................

I have the a35 now but I have a dreadful cold so I haven't exercised it yet.
First impressions - the HDR multiple shot mode does great shots against the
light.
The a55 also has a multishot noise reduction mode but I can't find it here - no
manual supplied!
It's a rethink of the a33 - they've moved it down the hill a bit from the a33
to get better model separation from the a55.
They did signal that a high end translucent mirror model was to be expected
soon.
