This in-camera HDR talk reminded me I've turned my hand to HDR this spring, 
with mixed success. One print I like can be found here:

First print in the gallery. I sold a framed one earlier today out of the 
gallery. Image size 12x18 inches, which is right at the native resolution of a 
D3 image. Framed to 20x26 inches.

In this case, HDR made something out of pretty much nothing. It's a combination 
of seven exposures. Each of them examined on its own is monumentally dull. 
Combined, they seem to work. At least I thought so, and apparently at least one 
customer did, too.

Also, I've put up another image from the Canon G-12. Actually two images, one 
color, one B&W. There's a touch of HDR in the post-processing, but it's 
software, not multiple exposures. The B&W really appeals to me, especially 
printed on a nice textured paper. Bath Bridge, here:
