Please forgive me, Chuck, but we discussed this about a year ago. I think that
need to point out the example that you have provided. :-)
The subject of the sentence is "none", meaning "not one", which is singular.
So it should be "None of . . . is capable . . ."
I know, it's almost an obsession with me -- mea culpa. But this language will
lose what little logic contained in its construction if we can't make the
subject and verb agree in number.
