Thanks for the tour. It was fun and informative. No. 6 shows the material used 
in the Wimberly flexible photo clamp in 
it's original intended use.

I toured a shop that makes racing engines from stock engines a few years ago. 
Very professional metal working, and 
astonishingly neat and clean, especially considering what's being done to 
metal. The least little stray bit of metal or 
other contaminant in the wrong place can lead to premature failure. They also 
had a computerized dynamometer for their 
own testing and tuning, and also did testing for others. There was a Maserati 
V-12 on a pallet waiting for its turn when 
I visited.
