It appears from the website that this aircraft, like many other modified for 
racing military planes, and clipped wings. The ailerons appear to be quite 
short. Can't say about the elevator. So, the chances that nay of this is 
stock is small.
This is a big subject in the old aircraft world. there are those that feel 
that with often only one flying example left, a type should be left on 
static display in a museum. The thought makes me sad, as aircraft are meant 
to fly, but the preservation argument is strong.

It might also be a mistake to assume that it's flight controls are the
same as a stock P-51.  The objective is to make it go very fast.  When a
1941 Willys coupe pulls up to the end of the dragstrip you can bet that
more than the engine has changed.  :-)
