Hot spots on skin says the red channel isn't being properly accounted
for I should think. Try exposing 1/3 or 2/3 stops under the meter's
recommendation. Or only use raw files.

It just occurred to me... I don't know what sort of magic filters the
E-30 can apply. Is it possible you've set something there or in white
balance that's boosting the red (or suppressing blue & green) and you
either don't know or have forgotten about it?

Actually, I just looked at the E-30 manual and see that it has "Picture
Modes" that mess with the color rendering. Check there and the white
balance. Also, does the Olympus software produce an identical looking
JPEG from the raw file?
