And how many times do you return home having used almost none of it? In my case
usually.
So I tend to limit. Both kit and purpose. My 45mm f1.8 arrived from B&H
yesterday. So today I'll put it on the loaner E-PL3 and go looking for suitable
shots. And take nothing else because I'm reviewing it, so I'm actively looking
for opportunities to use it.
Yes, it might be nice to have a longer tele and a wide and a macro and that
wouldn't really add much but I'm trying for discipline.
For instance, taking the M9 and 35mm Summicron as I do sometimes concentrates
the mind.

Events are different - it's in the car.
Using the 25mm Panny Leica mFT the other day reminded me that I used to manage
with one body and a 50mm lens.

One thing I noticed - the 45mm exhibits the same behaviour as the Leica 25mm -
the aperture makes two actions instead of one on the E-P2. And I do have the
latest firmware in there - 1.2. On the E-PL3 it is wide open and then stops
down as you'd expect. But on the E-P2 it seems to 'rest' at around f4, open up
when you touch the trigger and then stop down when you shoot. Rather odd.
