A lot of states have no minimum wage, or one that is lower than the Federal
$7.25 wage. In those cases, the Federal minimum is enforced. The sad thing
is, $13 an hour is an almost incredible, impossible to get wage for most of
the college educated young people in our country today. I know that anytime
a business here offers wages that high, they get thousands of applications
almost overnight! No one pays that much anymore, at least not for jobs young
grads are hired for.
