Thanks, Brian.  I enjoyed that, the music and the scenery.  I've flown over the 
Alps at low level, but in a Jaguar which was powered by turbofan engines.  The 
Hunter (this was a 2-seat trainer version) has a single turbojet, and though it 
lacks afterburner it will retain more of its sea-level thrust at increasing 
altitudes.

However, the pilot was not being entirely sensible flying that low (above 
ground level) at that altitude; the air is much thinner and you have much less 
control.  In addition, he will have been getting pretty slow as he climbed up a 
couple of the slopes.  But that Matterhorn one was magnificent!
