At the end of the blurb is says this about compatibility

Note: This battery also replaces the BLM-01 battery. However, it cannot
be charged in the Li-Ion Battery Charger BCM-01 as noted above.

In other words, the batteries are compatible but the chargers are not.
At 1620mAh the BLM-5 is presumably of higher capacity than the BLM-01.
