Funny that we should be discussing scanning today with new computers and
older scanners. I am sitting in front of my new Lenovo running Win7-64. The
Nikon V-ED is cranking away on two rolls of film from Thanksgiving. I'm
scanning it with Vuescan. Hamrick allows the software to be installed on up
to four computers. My $40 purchase years ago (prior to the price hike)
remains such an incredible value.
