Works fine on a 5D. I don't see in what way it could cause trouble. Low trigger
voltage. Extra pins are held up out of
the way without the little pit on an OM TTL flash shoe, so they can't get
crossed up with the Canon control pins.
Just make sure the two extra electrical contacts on the bottom retract properly
when you press on the plastic pin.
