That's what we thought here. I recall when the Canada goose was on the 
endangered list how "noble" was almost always a modifier. I also recall the 
plaintive cries to save the bird. 

Salvation was granted. Now, they are ubiquitous. And rapidly approaching the 
state where a pest lobby is almost certain. I believe I was told the typical 
Canada goose produces three pounds of goose poop per day. And when you see a 
yard or field covered in them, you can just imagine how much sh*t is on the 
ground. <g>

That said, I like 'em.
