Damn you, Ed - now I really want a Phototherm SSK-4!

I have already contacted them, but ai caramba - it's quite expensive!
And people think lenses are expensive? Still, might be worth saving up
six months for.

I know this is a totally newbie question, but with regards to the
chemicals: Must one use single-use home developing kits (C-41 and E-6)
or can this machine use the chemicals (designed for replenishing, I
guess) that the big commercial (e.g. Noritsu) E-6 machines use?

I ask, because I can get my hands on the commercial chemicals easily
enough, but home kits are a totally different matter around here.

I was thinking to start out in colour just for scanning, but I would
love a try at RA-4 printing at some stage... I have always been
intimidated by colour printing. Would like to prove to myself one day
that it's not so bad. Well, I guess tray processing would be the
worst, but with a nice processing machine, probably not so bad...

kind regards,
Dawid (dreaming of 4x5in slides...)
