I bought a Fotodiox Nikon F to Canon EF mount adapter, the cheap one. It was
apparently nicely made and finished. But
there was a design or machining error such that the auto indexing skirt on the
old MF lenses with one would bind on a
slightly raised edge on the adapter. Worked fine on the pre AI 200/4. The
result was that the lenses jammed and couldn't
be turned all the way on. I don't know anything about the pro models.

Overall, I wasn't impressed with them. I had to return both items from my
order, the adapter and a camera case that
didn't fit, not even close. I got an adapter of an obviously different design
that does fit, barely, from another vendor.
