Not quite.
The adaptor is slightly on the thin side to make sure that you can
focus to infinity with every lens--including those which are on the
long side of tolerances. This means that in most cases, Infinity is
not quite at infinity.
As to the hyperfocal marks, they help but you need to determine what
DoF means to you and adjust your pip selection accordingly.
