You'll have to explain this some more.

Just saying one doesn't require any micro-adjust feature on the camera
body to adjust the MA
on the chip. I haven't tried combining in cam MA and chip adjust but
it has been done successfully.
Mag LV is most consistent to check the MA setting and fast but I don't
see any issue with chimping and comparing at high mag either
on a 5D classic. Hope that was clearer.
