Yes, E-330 & E-3, starting to scan T-max.  Generally adjust FM radius until 
happy, but will try your suggestions.  Thanks.

Interesting. Unless I am pretty sure I won't be cropping or using very large, 
my first steps in PS5 are Neat Image, 
followed by Focus Magic. I then most often use FM again for final sharpening on 
the version down sampled for the web. 
There, even 1 pixel radius is too much, but setting partial opacity for the 
sharpened layer allows fine tuning.

I have yet to try FM on scanned film. Am I correct that you are using an E-330, 
or at least some E-thingie, as well as 
OMs with film? I think the E-330 is the same sensor system as the DMC-L1 Ken 
mentions, so would have the same issues 
with FM.
