Thanks, Jez.  It's a Metz 34 CS-2, like this one:

It can be an automatic flash for 3 apertures, or a slave with 2 modes.  It 
comes with a stand, a straight bracket and wide and tele lenses to adapt the 
field of lighting.

I've had it for about 4 years and it works very well.
