MA may not necessary for the MFT due to the use of contrast detection, 
I
think it is a near close loop AF system. My E-PL1 is perfectly accurate
although a bit slow (~0.7s).

Thanks CH. It is indeed telling that no CD only AF cam included in list 
of cams with MA. Your post tweaked my memory on a DP article---PD is 
typically  implemented closed loop too but the MA MAY tweak the Best 
Focus Correction Values (BFCV).
